By accessing or using Beyond the Blocks ("BTB," "we," "our," or "the Service"), operated by Beyond the Blocks LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a swim club or team), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Beyond the Blocks is a swim performance tracking and AI coaching platform that provides workout management, meet predictions, practice time logging, team management, and related features. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Athletes under 13 may only participate through parent/guardian-managed accounts in compliance with COPPA. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Free Plan: Available at no cost with limited features. No credit card required.
Paid Plans (AI Coached, Coach, Club): Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. After the trial period, your payment method on file will be automatically charged at the applicable rate. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
Club Per-Athlete Billing: Club plans include a base fee plus a per-active-athlete fee. The per-athlete charge is calculated based on the number of active, billable athletes on your roster at each billing cycle.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their current rate through the end of the current billing period.
If you cancel during your 14-day free trial, you will not be charged. After the trial period, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at team@beyondtheblocks.io within 14 days of the charge.

You retain ownership of content you create on the Service (announcements, comments, workout plans, notes). By posting content, you grant BTB a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Service. Coaches are responsible for content posted to their teams. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate training plans, performance predictions, nutrition targets, and coaching insights. AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical, nutritional, or coaching advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated predictions or recommendations. Users should consult qualified professionals for health and training decisions.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. For athletes under 13, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account. Coaches who add minor athletes to their roster are responsible for ensuring appropriate parental consent has been obtained. See our Privacy Policy for full COPPA compliance details.
The Service, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Beyond the Blocks LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beyond the Blocks LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beyond the Blocks LLC, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at team@beyondtheblocks.io.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
