Connecting Stripe for Club Billing

Take 5 minutes now and stop chasing payments forever. Here's how to link your club's Stripe account so Beyond the Blocks can charge dues, meet fees, and gear directly to your bank.

Why this matters

Stripe Connect is how your club collects money through Beyond the Blocks. Instead of us holding your funds and paying them out later, money goes straight from the family's card to your club's bank account. We take a flat 2.5% platform fee and show it on every transaction — you always know what you cleared.

Step-by-step

    Open the Admin tab in your dashboard

    Log in as a coach or club admin and tap Admin in the bottom navigation. This is where all billing, communications, and org-level settings live.

    Tap the 'Connect Stripe' button

    You'll see a Stripe Connect card in the billing section. Tap the blue 'Connect Stripe' button. This opens Stripe's own secure onboarding page in a new tab — not a Beyond the Blocks page. That's intentional and safe.

    Fill out Stripe's onboarding form

    Stripe asks for standard business information: your club name (or personal name if you're a solo coach), business type (LLC, nonprofit, sole proprietor), tax ID or SSN, bank account for payouts, and a phone number. This is exactly what any Stripe-powered business fills out. Beyond the Blocks never sees your banking or tax details — Stripe handles that directly.

    You'll know it worked when

    Stripe shows you a summary page with a green checkmark and a 'Return to Beyond the Blocks' button.

    Return to Beyond the Blocks

    Tap the return button on Stripe's page. You'll land back on your Admin tab. The Stripe Connect card now shows a green 'Connected' status instead of the blue connect button.

    You'll know it worked when

    Your Admin page shows a green 'Stripe Connected' badge with your connected account ID.

    Verify everything is working

    Before you rely on Stripe for real charges, run a one-time test charge. From Admin → Billing, select a family, enter $1.00 with description 'Test charge', and send. You'll see the charge land in your Stripe dashboard within seconds. Refund it from Stripe if you want.

    You'll know it worked when

    The test charge appears in both Beyond the Blocks (as a paid invoice) and in your Stripe dashboard.
