Public Swimmer Search

Find any USA Swimmer by name or member ID — or share your own public profile with family, friends, and recruiters. Here's how it works.

For: Everyone

Why this matters

USA Swimming meet results are public record. The Public Swimmer Search makes them easy to find and share. Grandparents can bookmark a profile, college recruiters can browse times, rival swimmers can track their competition — and you can control exactly how your own profile appears.

Step-by-step

  1. 1

Go to /swimmers from any browser

The swimmer search page is at beyondtheblocks.io/swimmers. No account needed — this page is public, just like USA Swimming meet results are public.

  2. 2

Search by name or member ID

Type a swimmer's name in the search box, or paste their 14-character USA Swimming member ID. You can filter by LSC (your local state/regional code) and gender to narrow results. Results appear as you type.

  3. 3

Tap a swimmer to see their full profile

Every result card links to that swimmer's public profile. The profile shows personal bests by course, recent meet results, career progression, and — for Beyond the Blocks members — extra data like prediction accuracy and goal progress.

    You'll know it worked when

You see a swimmer's name, LSC, club, age, and their times laid out clearly.

  4. 4

(For your own profile) Check your visibility settings

By default, swimmers 13 and older are publicly searchable (matching how SwimCloud handles public data). Under-13 athletes are hidden by default — parents can choose to enable public visibility. To change your own settings, go to Settings → Profile → Privacy.

  5. 5

    Share your profile link

From your own profile on Beyond the Blocks, tap Share → Copy Link. You get a URL you can text, email, or paste anywhere. The person clicking it doesn't need an account to view.
